Larry Needlemeyer

Laurence “Larry” Needlemeyer is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. In practically every store in Elmore, he serves as the cashier. Since Larry is not gullible, he typically does not get along with people whose last names are “The Watterson.” Even though Larry “worked incredibly hard” to maintain all of his employment, he has been fired at least once.

Larry is a very serious, committed person who is not easily fooled. In the Elmore region, he works a variety of jobs and is excellent at everything from cashier to store clerk. But on multiple occasions, he either accidentally shoots himself or is convinced to do it by a member of the Watterson family. Karen, a friend of his, has made two tries to do this but has been unsuccessful each time.

Larry often wore a red badge with a white and red striped diagonal along the middle, a red badge, a green shirt, an orange tie, an orange hat, and a badge. He’s wearing pants and black sneakers. On his gorgeous cheekbones, he has freckles. But as the show goes on, he begins to dress in a way that is appropriate for the jobs he holds. He seems to be fairly slim, like Rob and Miss Simian. His head is unusually large and blocky. He transforms from Lazy Larry into a giant block that connects his head to his torso, just like Richard did. In season 1, he had a rougher texture. He now seems to be made completely of paper because the textures stopped showing after season 2.
